Where are the carriers?

Gary Baumgarten, in an Open Salon post today, mentioned the news items that indicated the Saudis gave the Israelis the green light to overfly their airspace if they need to attack Iran and the other item mentioned that Israel had sent a sub through the Suez Canal. In my opinion, it looks like the Israeli attack will soon be on.

Another indicator that Uncle Sam may be aware of an imminent attack is that we currently have nine of our aircraft carries deployed. The Enterprise is not scheduled to leave dry dock until August 2009 and the Lincoln is currently in dry dock.

We also recently tested a Titan III ICBM which had three independently targetable dummy warheads on it. Now, every military tests it's equipment to make sure it is functioning properly, but a successful test launch of a MIRVed Titan III at this particular time sends a very clear signal to some of our enemies, namely, that despite whatever other problems we are having in America at the moment, we can still drop a nuclear warhead on a gnat's ass from over 4,000 miles away.

Something is going to happen soon.
