In Sunday school last week our lesson was on Proverbs. One passage in particular got my attention. It was Proverbs 6 vs. 16-19:
"There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord
among brothers."
This passage exactly describes the dogma of the dimocratic (intentional spelling) party and specifically the liberal left. The things that are an abomination to the Lord are the hallmarks of liberalism.
Yes, the republican party harbors the occasional wolf in sheep's clothing, Senator Larry (bathroom stall) Craig comes to mind here, but the dimocratic party is the party of Satan. You cannot be a liberal dimocrat and a Christian. The two are mutually exclusive. From James 3 vs. 10-12: "From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not be so. Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? Can a fig tree my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water."
Many people routinely attend church with dimocrats, whose party ideals include such things as being pro abortion, favoring things which scripture considers abominations such as homosexuality and various sexual perversions. You cannot be pro abortion and be a Christian. You may attend a Christian church, but you cannot be a Christian.
One can be a kind and compassionate Christian without tolerating this nonsense. Most churches today are merely businesses who seem to be more motivated by profit than morality. "Anyone is welcome in our denomination, whatever their faults." (as long as they are dropping money in the collection plate the church will tell them their sins are forgiven). I gotta tell y'all that pastors in these type of churches are going to be sent to the very bottom pit of hell, since they are jeopardizing not only their souls but the souls of their congregation as well. We are all sinners, but my advice is to find a good, conservative Bible believing church and start attending it in earnest...........time is running out!!!
